Summary
This month’s webinar with Matt MacDougall and Becky Wardlow of Rocket Web focused on how to effectively transition a Magento Community store to Magento Go. The presentation began with a look at the benefits of Go vs. the Community Edition and then jumped right into how to move between the platforms. After discussing how to set up the store design, product attributes, attribute sets and categories, Matt and Becky went on to show attendees how to import products and images. The presentation concluded with some final tips and best practices as well as a rapid-fire question and answer session.

Magento’s Community Edition is a flexible and robust eCommerce platform, however it does not provide hosting or support. For those merchants who are interested in hosting and support, this webinar provides the most efficient way to transfer an existing Community store to Magento Go.
