The Catalog Search section is used to configure search query lengths, word count, search suggestions and recommendations for your Magento Go store.

| Options | Scope | Description |

| Minimal Query Length | Store View | Enter a numeric value to determine the minimum number of characters allowed in a search query. |
| Maximum Query Length | Store View | Enter a numeric value to determine the maximum number of characters allowed in a search query. |
| Maximum Query Word Count | Store View | Enter a numeric value to determine the maximum number of words allowed in a search query. |
| Enable Search Suggestions | Store View | If set to “Yes,” the Search Results list for a query that returns no results displays the message, “Did you mean:” followed by a list of closely matching search terms as suggestions. Note: Enabling Search Suggestions helps customers find similar products, but may impact performance. |
Show Results Count for Each Suggestion | Store View | If set to “Yes,” the list of suggestions includes the number of times the search term has been submitted. Options include: Yes: Displays the number of times the search term has been submitted. No: Does not display the number of times the search term has been submitted. |
| Enable Search Recommendations | Store View | If set to “Yes,” the Search Results list for a query that returns no results displays a selection of related search terms. Options include: Yes: Displays the text, “Related Search Terms,” followed by a list of recommendations from the selection of related search terms. No: Does not display “Related Search Terms.” |
