Overview

The Google Checkout Shipping - Carrier Calculated section lets you enable and configure carrier-calculated shipping for customers using Google Checkout in your Magento Go store.

Field Descriptions

Options Scope Description
Enable Carrier Calculated Website Enables or disables carrier-calculated shipping for Google Checkout.

Note: When enabled, merchant calculated shipping is automatically disabled. Google API relies on the delivery carriers to determine shipping rates, rather than Magento Go.

Carrier Calculated Methods Website

Determines which of the following calculated shipping methods are available per carrier, during Google Checkout.

FedEx
  • Ground
  • Home Delivery
  • Express Saver
  • First Overnight
  • Priority Overnight
  • Standard Overnight
  • 2 Day
UPS
  • Next Day Air
  • Next Day Air Early AM
  • Next Day Air Saver
  • 2nd Day Air
  • 2nd Day Air AM
  • 3 Day Select
  • Ground

USPS

  • Express Mail
  • Priority Mail
  • Parcel Post
  • Media Mail
Delivery Address Category Website Identifies the typical type of delivery address as one of the following:
  • Commercial
  • Residential
Default Price for Methods Website Sets the default shipping rate to be used if Google Checkout is unable to calculate the carrier rate.
Default Package Width (in) Website Specifies the width of the typical package shipped, in inches.
Default Package Height (in) Website Specifies the height of the typical package shipped, in inches
Default Package Length (in) Website Specifies the length of the typical package shipped, in inches
Handling Fee Fixed Website Specifies a fixed additional amount to be charged as a handling fee. The handling fee is added to the adjusted shipping rate.
Handling Fee Percent Website Specifies a percentage of the total sale to be charged as a handling fee. For example, to charge a 6% handling fee, enter .06 as a decimal value. The handling fee is added to the adjusted shipping rate.
