Using Magento Connect

Magento Connect enables you to expand the functionality and feature set of your store with Magento Go Extensions. Extensions let you integrate new features into your store such as site management utilities, marketing tools, customer experience features, and themes, as well as integration tools to connect your Magento Go store with your other business functions.

Magento Connect is the marketplace for free and paid store extensions. We invite you to explore our marketplace of themes, tools, and extensions to find exactly what you need to enhance your Magento Go store.

How to Purchase an Extension

1. Go to Magento Connect.
2. Log in to your Magento Commerce account.
3. Navigate to the Magento Go extension that you want to install.
   

   Note: Magento Go Trusted Extensions are marked with the Trusted Extension logo.
   

4. Set the Platform list to Magento Go. Then, do one of the following:
   
   • For a free extension, click the Get It Now button. Then in the pop-up window, click the Place Order button.
   • For a paid extension, click the Buy Now button. Then in the pop-up window, complete your Billing Address and Payment Information, and click Place Order.
5. When your order is complete and message, “Your extension has been installed” appears.
   
6. Now, you can do the following:
   
   • To continue shopping, close the pop-up window.
   • To verify the installation, go to your account dashboard, and click View in My Account. You will find your extensions listed in the My Go Extensions panel, under My Account. By default, all extensions are initially set to Disabled.
     

     Note: If you have multiple stores, make sure to select the store where you installed the extension from the list.

How to Enable an Extension

1. Log in to your Magento customer account.
2. To view your Magento Go Extensions, from the My Account dashboard, click My Go Extensions.
   If you have multiple stores, make sure to select the store where the extension is installed.
3. Find the extension In the list, and click Disabled to change its status to Enabled.
   

   Note: If you want to disable this extension in the future, simply click Enabled to change its status to Disabled.
