How to Update my Store’s Information and Time Zone
- System > Configuration > General > General > Locale Options
Moved to a new location or want to update your timezone? With Magento go you can easily select and update your store and locale information.
To update your store’s Information do the following:
- In the Admin Panel, go to System> Configuration> [General Tab]> General. In the Store Information tab you have the following options:
Proceed to fill out the specified information:
- Store Name - Enter your public store name.
- Store Contact Telephone - Enter your main contact telephone.
- Store Contact Address – Enter your main address.
NOTE These fields will be filled out more thoroughly in the Contact Us section.
- Click [Save Config] to save your settings.
To update your timezone do the following?
- In the Admin Panel, go to System> Configuration> [General Tab]> General. In the Locale Options tab you have the following options:
Proceed to fill out the specified information
- Timezone - Select to Time zone your store belongs to.
- Locale - Select the country your Web Store belongs to.
- First Day of Week - According to your store’s calendar select the day that begins your week.
- Weekend Days - According to your store’s calendar, select which day(s) are considered weekends.
- Click [Save Config] to save your settings.
