Step 2: Managing Stock Availability Messages
Set the Product to Manage Stock
- From the Admin panel, select Catalog > Manage Products.
- In the list, click to open the product. Then in the Product Information panel on the left, select Inventory.
- If necessary, clear the Use Config Settings checkbox, and set Manage Stock to “Yes.” Then complete the inventory settings as needed.
- Verify that Stock Availability is set to “In Stock.”
- Click the Save button to save the product settings.
