Working with the Theme Text Editor

By default Magento Go has provided buttons such as “My Account” to help navigate customers around your web store.  If the names are not consistent with you store, or you would like to translate them into another language, then they can be changed.

Before you launch your Theme Text editor we recommend that you set your web store on Maintenance mode for the safety of your site and the integrity of your customers shopping experience.

  1. From the Admin Panel, select Design > Themes Text Editor.
  2. Click the [Launch] button to view an editable version of your home page.

In this page you will notice that many of the titles in your store are encased in red boxes.

NOTE: If you would like to change the language for a store view click the drop-down menu next to the Language button at the top of the page to change store views. This option will only be available on plans that support multi-languages.

To change the title in the search engine bar use the SCRIPT box.
